Henry Rotary Club
The Henry Rotary Club, chartered in 1948, is one of over 31,000 Rotary Clubs located around the world in
over 165 countries. The club's 50 members are among the 1,220,000 members of Rotary International worldwide. The
Club meets every Monday at noon (with a few exceptions for holidays and special local events) at the River Valley Bowl. Rotarians from other clubs and guests are always invited to attend.
The Henry Rotary Club is a service club. Its main fund raising project is a Pancake & Sausage Breakfast held each year
on the last Sunday in January. Among the activities and programs that the club contributes to are: H.S. Music Boosters,
M-P Show Choir, Boy Scouts, Henry DARE Program, Henry Summer Recreation Programs, DC Busters,
M-P 4-H, Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Fund, Red Stocking Fund, Henry Park & Recreation Board, St. Mary's Food Pantry,
American Legion Fireworks, River Valley Community Center, Charles Perdew Museum, Sun Foundation, Character Counts, Relay
for Life, Project Success, Rotary Youth Leadership, Polio Plus, Interact Club, and typically a
local and an international project.
